Just thought I’d share these lovely comp cards for aspiring child actor, Keith Moore. Blog readers may remember that I was commissioned to create his portfolio photos. Since our shoot he has been getting some buzz. So, his parents asked me to create some comp cards for his “go-sees”.
Before I delivered these babies, I had to lay them out for their own shoot. Thanks to my printer for turning these around in a couple of days 😉
Here is an unedited series from that day…. cute stuff, Keith!
Are you interested in some photos for the star child in your family?
Please drop me a line on the “contact me” page!
A year has gone by since this shoot took place, but I can’t believe I didn’t blog these! So without further ado, I introduce to you London Lorena! This vibrant little girl from Brooklyn wants to be an actress and print model. Her mother saw her potential and did the right thing by coming to me for some headshots.
London can sing, dance, do impersonations and has such a bright and dynamic personality. I hear she’s been successful at her most recent audition for PBS/Sprout. If all goes well, ill be sharing a video of her soon! Reach out to me on the contact page if you want to create some beautiful images, and/or comp cards for your aspiring child actor.
And finally, check out this cute screenshot, a spread of her dancing to the “whip and nae nae” lol. I hope this relays the energy on set!
Last Sunday, I was commissioned to create a portfolio for aspiring child actor and comedian, Keith Moore. Keith’s mother, Andrea, contacted me after seeing the work I did on Megan’s kidney disease story. While that prompted her to call me, after meeting her son, I realized why she wanted to help him further his dreams to be in front of the camera.
Keith was a natural in front of the camera, and took direction very easily. He was easy to bring laughter or pensiveness to the shots. I loved working with him and I hope he goes far! If any casting agents happen to read this blog, please reach out to me and I will put you in touch with his parents. He is located in Brooklyn, NY but is looking for screen and TV work across the city.
2011 was such a wonderful year! While in Jamaica during the holidays, I created my work-plan and goals for 2012. In doing so, I had to go through all my 2011 images and decided to mix it up and showcase my favorite images of children. Here are the ones I chose, some were previously published and a few are fresh to the blog.
Being hired to shoot the Sookram twins dedication earlier this month, was very dear to my heart. The family went through a rough period when they lost their daughter a few years ago but had been blessed with twin boys not too long after! Ms. Sookram had asked me to design memorial cards for her daughter in 2009 and reached out to me again to design Theo and Thur’s christening invitations this past Spring. Shortly after completing the invitations, I was then asked to document the twins’ Dedication and Luncheon at St Johns Baptist church in Far Rockaway. There were so many smiles (and for good reason!) I decided to post my favorites. Some of the candids are linked below.

Two lovely guests
Can you say BABY BLUES!?
This little princess was so charismatic!
Sisters! And they refused to take solo pictures, only with each other 🙂
How confident is that smirk? And she asked me to take this pic of her, BTW.
More photos can be seen in the teaser slide show, here. Thanks for viewing!
Yes, I know we’re in February now, but throw in a last minute trip to London for my Uncle’s Funeral, a huge workload throughout January, a virus on my studio computer and you have a blog post late by one month. These photos are my favorites that were taken in: Jamaica, Arizona, Brooklyn-NY, and Capital Hill-Albany. So, without further ado, here are my favorite pro-photos of 2009. Thank you for allowing me to be inspired by all of you.
