The Bride wore FENDI…
It’s been a while, but here are some photos I took of a couple that got engaged on the beach near the Montauk lighthouse in Long Island New York. Early on a Saturday morning, Frank proposed to Amy on a pathway to the beach. Here are the pictures that followed the proposal.

J’ouvert Sunday 2012, I had the pleasure of documenting Elita and Sheldon’s wedding in Prospect Park, Brooklyn. I blogged some same day teasers a little while ago, but here are both mine and the couples favorites.
The couple had a peacock-purple and turquoise theme.
Elita’s sister gets the bride into her dress.
Elita and Sheldon decided on a “first look” before their ceremony. Sheldon, you are sharp!!
I positioned the bride so that she would not be seen in his peripherals once she got close, but that I could also capture the bridesmaids looking on in the distance. Perfect composition! This might be one of my favorite images of all time : )
Underneath the chuppah.
An intimate moment during formals.
A kiss with Grand Army Plaza’s monument framing the couple in the distance.
I love the Hora, just as much as the guests!
When the bride saw this image, she giggled. Not only because of the obvious, but because a teenage girl was holding her chair up.
Rabbi Gloria, officiated the wedding. She made her mark at the ceremony, leading guests through Elita’s Jewish traditions and readings, yet keeping the simplicity of an intimate wedding in the park.
For me, the guest and family shot is the crowning moment of the reception. Everyone is together in one image and it ties the day together. Thank you Sheldon and Elita for allowing me to capture the personal moments of your wedding day. It was such a beautiful affair! My assistant and I hold it as one of the best weddings we have captured!

This past weekend I documented Elita and Sheldon’s wedding. It was an intimate ceremony at Prospect Park with people dear to them, and then we had a full on rockstar bash at Giando on The Water. Here are some teasers from the day.
